jmcancruise Posted March 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2012 Grand Caymen will be our second stop on a two week cruise. First is Key West. Thinking at this point we will just want to perfect beach day. Something that has soft sand, warm calm water, lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent, a place to get a cool drink and a little snack. I know 7 mile beach is probably the # 1 option, but what part, or is there another beach that would be better?
travelchic3 Posted March 31, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2012 We always take a cab to Royal Palms on 7 mile beach, we love it there, you can rent beach chairs and umbrella get drinks and food. They also have a pool. I think now they started charging to get in $2.00pp The cab is about $4.00pp. http://royalpalmscayman.com
Ozzmund Posted April 4, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2012 I'll second the choice of Royal Palms we were there 4 years ago and will be heading there on April 10th when we stop in Grand Cayman. A great place to relax, people watch, sun and swim.
Shekim Posted May 11, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2012 Can we bring an ice chest full of our favorite beverages with us to the beach?
bookbabe Posted May 11, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2012 Can we bring an ice chest full of our favorite beverages with us to the beach? Not to one of the beach clubs like Royal Palms...restaurants prefer that you don't bring in outside food or drinks.
