5Stringer Posted March 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2012 We're planning to go to Hawaii from San Diego in early Feb, 2013. As a couple who like to sit out in the sun, and given the fact we have a total of 10 sea days, what is the weather typically like between SD and Hawaii at this time of year? sassyredhat Posted March 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2012 I live in SD and have taken the cruise twice, and going for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. We always go in April. Less humidity on the islands for me. It used to be that we could predict weather here, but the last couple of years have been strange. I would say the crossing will be a bit chilly and windy. Now I live here and have thin blood. Anything under 65* and I'm freezing. :p :D If you choose a ship whose pool has a retractable cover, you will be just fine any day at the pool. You may get drizzle on the islands, and you may have it here in Feb. Just don't know. But I would not pass up any cruise to Hawaii for that reason !!!
