Any recommended non-ship sponsered fishing excursions in Sitka?

Looking for a less expensive alternative to the ship's excursion for some 1/2 day Salmon fishing in Sitka this coming June. HAL wants $250 per person and I've gotta believe that there is a better deal out there than this. Any recommendations from previous experiences? Thanks in advance for your help.

Here might be some useful information:

I am looking as well as our group may do some fishing in Sitka or Ketchikan. I am leaning towards Ketchikan as they are inside passage so the ocean should be calmer.

I went fishing in Ketchikan in July 2010 and had a great time. However, at that time of the year, we only caught Pink Salmon. While good to eat, it is not as prized for eating as the other species like King and Coho. Plus, on our cruise, we only get about 5 hours in Ketchikan and by going fishing, we may not have any other time to see the town. I'm leaning heavily towards Sitka.
