Coral Princess - Deck Plans -before or after May 21,2013

What is happening to the Coral Princess after May 21, 2013. I was looking at the deck plans; it gives you the option of picking before or after that date. Even if the ship is going into dry dock, what would change about the deck plans?

Princess has reclassified all their cabins. They affect all cruises being announced this year, but not those announced last year. So for the Coral the date is May 21, 2013.

The deck plans are identical-just the room designations will be changed.

 

Check it out-just scroll over any of the staterooms on the first plan and then scroll over the same rooms on the second plan.

Oh... OK, thanks. The cabin we were looking at prior to 5/21/2013 is BC - after BB.

The effective date of the change will vary depending on where the schedule was cut off with last year's announcement.

It is my belief that they did this after years of feedback regarding desirability of cabins combined with the "Most Requested" Data. Some cabins are rated lower and some higher after the switch.
