Bribrittmom Posted April 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2005 We sailed on the Serenade last year. It is a beautiful ship. Be sure to visit the Seaview Cafe. Great place for a late night snack. Our favorite excursion was the helicopter glacier landing in Juneau. On the Hubbard Glacier day be sure to get on the front viewing deck early so you can be near the railing. Our waiter Kem from Turkey was great!
natesfirewife Posted April 27, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2005 And check out the Rasul Treatment in the Spa, we did it for our 10th anniversary and my husband always want to know if we can do it again when we sail. Unfortunately the last two ships didn't offer it, but the Serenade does! And check out the heated lounge chairs in the Thermal Suite. Budget Queen Posted April 27, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2005 Look over a shore excursion list and make good touring choices. This is a big part of Alaska travel. Budget fully in my opinion. the tours are worth it.
