...was that you could go into Michael's Club & get free Bloody Mary's or Mimosa's.

Try that on Royal !

We hit diamond on Royal last year & then took a Celebrity cruise. Our Internet TA had us Elite when he made the booking. The benefits are much better than Royal Caribbean.

Some of the benefits, like internet time & laundry, are out of the coupon book. You each get a book if you are both Elite, not just one for the cabin.

I love Royal Caribbean but find that Celebrity is just a notch above on everything.

I recently found out that they have a casino club, something I did not realize on our last cruise eventhough I spent a lot of time there !

We are members of Royal Caribbean's club. We got in touch with them & they transferred our credits to the Infinity for our cruise next month. I am really excited about the fact that their clubs are reciprocal.

I agree that the free drinks are a plus, but I don't drink in the morning. All I want for breakfast is an egg white omelet with real Swiss cheese and mushrooms and a double espresso with a twist of lemon peel. I can get that at Royal's Diamond breakfast. I can't get it at Elite breakfast.

I don't care for the pastries on Celebrity, don't like smoothies and there isn't a ship I've ever sailed with yogurt I like. Yes, I am picky about my breakfast and that's why Royal's full menu choices along with the espresso coffee "floats my boat" and Celebrity's breakfast does not.

BTW, we sailed on Infinity in January and the Elite breakfast was in the SS United States, not Michael's Club. The cocktail hour wasn't there either.
