Carnival Dream vs. Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas

We have narrowed our search to these two ships. We are making the decision based which one would be the most fun for our 2 yr old daughter.

 

Has anyone been on the Carnival Dream? We have been on the Liberty of the Seas (Freedoms sister ship) and had a great time. This was before I had a child, and as you know, I look at things totally different now.

 

Any input on the pools/toddler water areas would be greatly appreciated!!

Carnival has no water areas at all for the diapered set, while Freedom has a toddler splash zone. Carnival allows 2 year olds in their kids' club and will change diapers. Freedom has a nursery for those under 3 who are not potty trained, but there is a fee. They do, however, have daily play periods with toys but children must be accompanied by an adult. Freedom also has in-room sitting available.
