Condition of suites on the Freedom

Or last cruise was in an OS on Freedom in 2010. The condition of our room (along with some other things) was so bad that we decided to skip our yearly cruise on RCI last year. We had a broken table, stains on our couch, the sliding door that would not shut properly etc etc.

 

What I would like to know is if the rooms have been refurbished since we last cruised. We would love to, or should I say the kids, would love to come back and cruise with RCI but our last cruise with them kind of left a bad taste in our mouths. Although my wife and I wish they provided more services for the price they charge for suites, we like RCI because the public areas are clean and kid friendly.

We did a 2010 and a 2012. While our cabin was immaculate on both cruises, they did go through some upgrades in between. I'm not sure when they occurred but they added an outdoor big screen and interactive locators where there were ship maps previously. The GS had a new interactive flat panel TV. I'm sure there were more additions but I have a short memory span. Did I mention the GS was immaculate?:D

You missed out! We cruised on her in April 2011 the second cruise from her being out of dry dock. Everything was updated, cleaned and they added the big screen at the main pool and new touch screen maps.
