Semi-Submarine/ west end village

Has anyone done this tour? We have done a semi submarine before and we both enjoyed it and I really like that they take you to the west end, somewhere we haven't been before.

Carnival is currently selling this tour for $59.99 a person. Is is worth it? What is there to do in the west end? Any good shopping?

From what I understand there are two "semi submarine" on the island they are called Glass Bottom Boats. One is in West End Village at the Coconut Tree pier. The other is in West Bay at the Foster's pier. Both of these places are on the West End of the island, any chance you know which one Carnival is offering?

West End Village has shopping.

West Bay has people selling wares along what may be the most beautiful beach on the island.

I have spoken with many people coming off the glass bottom boat in West Bay.. it is a very good option to see the reef without getting wet. I understand it can get a bit stuffy in the heat.

Oops My mistake, the thread title says West End Village. sorry!
