We are booked on the Quest on 4/21/13 and had picked 4056 OV cabin and was wondering if being behind the sales office would be to noisy. Also wondering in catergory 5 would there be a better location. We want to be on the Port side since we are leaving from Seville and going to Barcelona the port side would be much better for viewing then the starboard. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is going to be our second cruise on Azamara we did the Journey last year and there are no words to describe how good our experience was it was a real game changer for us. This is coming from someone who loves large ships. Azamara really changed our opinion on just how good a small cruise ship experience can be.

The Sales / Club desk has limited hours of operation each day so I don't think that noise from it would be a problem. Personally I'd stay in another room since there will be a constant flow of traffic up and down that hallway. In ports where you dock there is a chance that the security and gangway equipment will be close to your room.

Hi there! DW and I had this cabin on our 14 day this past January and LOVED it! It's an ideal location, very little noise...once and a while, you'd get a little piano from upstairs but it was never intrusive. As you know, the passenger mix as a whole is more well heeled and respectful than you'd find on most "mass market" cruises, and as such, we didn't ever have an instance of disturbance from foot traffic near our cabin. During port days, the "ding, ding, ding" of passengers leaving for the day could be heard as the gangway is right next door, but it really wasn't any bother. We would take this cabin again in a second! It's fun to be right in the middle of the social hub of the ship, and it's only a few steps away from the Mosaic for that early AM specialty coffee! ;)
