Excursion ideas from Falmouth for a 2 1/2 year old?

We are taking a family cruise with our 2 1/2 year old daughter. There will be 7 adults in addition to our little one. We are going to be on Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas. Any recommendations for an excursion through RCCL or through a trusted private tour company? I have no idea if we will be bringing a car seat because I don't even know if it's even feasible. My parents have been to Jamaica before and refuse to go to Dunns River Falls again because of all of the vendors and the hassling. We would be up for a day at the beach or on a boat...just something safe. My husband is a huge Jimmy Buffet fan so I was considering something near Margaritaville, but was having trouble finding the right fit with a RCCL excursion. Really hoping I can find something we all will find enjoyable and safe because I am not the type of person that stays on the ship when we are in port. Thanks in advance for any tips!

If you want to stick to a RCCL excursion, maybe Iberostar beach? We went to Iberostar Suites on our own, it was excellent. We walked along the beach to Ibero- Beach and used their pool and swim up bar. As soon as we approached the Ibero- Beach area, a beach- waitress walked right up to us, greeted us and asked us if we wanted a drink. The staff at both were very attentive. Both were clean, seemed very safe. We did notice more little ones with families at Ibero- Suites, but thats not to say that e didnt see children at Ibero beach when we walked over. The atmosphere was more party than family though. We booked directly with the hotel with a simple phone cal, but I know people who have booked online with a company...the name escapes me now..

At the port in Falmouth, there is signage with taxi fare to the different areas, so there is no haggling for price.

Thats all I could personally recommend, because thats what we did! I do have to say that it was my favorite port day because it was so easy....and so relaxing. We drive through the area outside the port and it didnt seem like there would be anything to draw cruise passengers out other than excursions...Having said that id love to know if there have been any changes outside the gated port area in the past 8 months.
