Motion sickness on Allure deck 17?

Hi just a quick question... we've booked a room on the Allure next year. It is 1720, so on the port side right at the aft of the 'crown' thing on deck 17. Since less motion is felt mid-ship and lower down... we will be in the 'highest' sleeping position, 3/4 of the way to aft. What will we feel at night?

We've only done one cruise, a TA on the Epic.. we were deck 10 about midship and only got a little bit sick one night. We had 20-30ft seas and had just stuffed ourselves at Moderno (like Samba Grill on the Allure where you get 500 types of meat). That night in bed you actually rolled side to side and the cabin creaked like crazy.

How much motion should we feel if the seas are not smooth but not rough, like 8 foot waves? Should we be more worried about wind?

Thanks heaps!

If you experienced such rough seas on the Epic and only felt a little sick, then you will barely notice anything on the Allure.

Just remember, all ships move regardless of their size. Just because you didn't feel it on a smaller ship doesn't mean you won't on a large one. It's all dependent on weather, seas, wind.

The higher you are and the closer to the bow or stern on any ship will maximize the actual movement you encounter.

How you react to the movement depends on you.

Having said that, the Oasis class ships are large and very stable in normal waters.
