Tech geeks and those interested in tracking with GPS and geocaching

Here is a picture from the balcony from the Valor 6 day, 3/25/12, tracking our route on the Garmin 62s unit! Worked very well, and was always able to get a signal with the unit's antenna even with the heavy metal around the ship. We are leaving Jamaica here, going back to Miami, and the top speed got to 25 mph as we circled around Cuba.

There have been several threads in the past with GPS units and geocaching, so if anyone was interested, they can find this. It's fun tracking with your own GPS. Before anyone says anything, the ship's tracking channel is often inaccurate and doesn't give enough information -that's no fun!
