XJflyer Posted April 27, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Can anyone tell me how many electrical outlets there are in an inside cabin on the Dream? Are they conveniently located? Trying to decide if I have to throw in a power strip! Thanks!
kicia Posted April 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2012 There is one 110 v. and one 220 v. outlet by the desk. If you bring a European adapter you can use both. There is also an outlet in the bathroom that is supposed to be only for shavers but we've used it to charge our toothbrushes and it works.
Sargent_Schultz Posted April 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2012 .... Most modern battery chargers are happy with anything from 100v - 240v but check yours.
kicia Posted April 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2012 It's correct that you probably don't need a converter but you will need an adapter with the two round prongs. Almost all of our electronics work in either voltage but make sure you check before you plug it in. I still have to flip a switch on my hair dryer but not on the curling iron. The computer and phone and camera chargers are also dual voltage.
rockbock Posted April 27, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Do the 6N (Deluxe Family Oceanview) cabins have an outlet in BOTH bathrooms? If there are three total, I can leave the power strip home this trip, but there's no way five of us can make due with only two outlets (iPods, iPhones, camera batteries, etc.)
