Mid August

Going on first Alaska trip on August 9th starting with 4 days in Denali and then south bound to Vancouver with the usual stops Juneau/Ketchican/Skagway..... what type of weather should we expect?

Can't predict weather.

 

Have cruised at that time of the year and we had fairly decent weather.

 

Just dress in layers -- we have Gortex jackets with zippered linings. We have water proof shoes. And always pack small portable umbrells in DH's back pack.

 

Take a hat and gloves.
