Best comedians?

Just having a discussion in another thread about comedians. I've always said that the best cruise line for comedians is Thomson. This is probably because I much prefer British comedy to American.

 

On all lines though I go to the 'late night shows' and always seem to think they're quite mellow. I enjoy lots of types of comedy and think a bit of blue can be good. Anyone ever had a comedian who pushed things a little?

So do they have their own comedians? The ones we've seen with Cunard are only on the ship for a short while. Sometimes they get off at a port during the cruise and another one gets on.

They don't have their own, it just seems to me that they have the best contacts and greatest consistency
