To lock or not to lock?

TSA locks don't solve my paranoid has someone been through my undies thing - cause you can't tell if they opened them or not.

For a little bit more $, you can get locks that indicate if TSA used their key to open. But those are of no use on a cruise ship.

We were randomly chosen for a TSA check on our cruise to Alaska. You can tell that someone has been in your suitcase. Plus TSA leaves a sheet of paper in the suitcase telling you that you participated in a TSA check.

I always use the TSA locks, but I've never heard of the ones you reference. Where do you find them?
