Help..Can't decide!

I need help choosing! My bf and I have cruised before, my parents have not. My two picks for the four of us are the Carnival Miracle (Western) and Mariner of the Seas (Eastern). Itinerary is not a huge deal for us. Does anyone have any major pros and cons of these? Tampa vs. Port Canaveral?

Both ports are very accessible, so that shouldn't make a difference. Between the two cruise lines, I'd go with RCCL. Food, service, entertainment and overall ambience is better with RC. Western Caribbean itineraries are a little more adventurous than Eastern, Eastern has better shopping. You can find some great beaches either way.

I would definetly go with RCCL... Carnival is a big BORING in my book! My b-friend and I go every year with my parents and RCCL is our favorite.
