Golden and Coral in SF

Drove by both of them here in SF today. It is an amazing sight to see the Golden Princess up out of the water in dry dock as well as the Coral Princess looking over the Embarcadero and Fisherman's Wharf. You think the Golden looks large in the water, hoisted out it is HUGE! It looks like it she is getting a new coat of paint on the hull. Both looked great on a beautiful sunny day here. Just wish I was boarding, Instead I am here working..:(

After I went to see Golden in dry dock (see new pics in other thread), I went down to the beach to watch Coral leave this evening. This is her approaching the Golden Gate Bridge around 6:45 pm :p

That figures, because remember the last time when you didn't go down there were TWO cruise ships going under at night. ;)

LOL!! I am definitely being punished for that :D I did get to see her rounding the corner toward the GG Bridge but couldn't get a good photo. Once she neared the bridge she entered the fog. I could sure hear her horn though!

She was blasting away about every 30 seconds and she sounded nervous; I can't blame her. There was a steady stream of cargo ships coming in through the fog heading to the port in Oakland as she was trying to leave. I was checking her bridge webcam on my iPhone as she went by and her visibility was zero.

Certainly don't need another 'Andrea Doria'-style accident to happen near the Golden Gate Bridge!
