Using Points - OK Guys Know best minds are out there - need help

Using AMEX points - I used to use them for flights to FLL till AMEX quit honoring Southwest so then I got a Southwest Charge Card but still have left over points at AMEX. So - I thought I would use for a hotel room before or after the cruise - but I usually book through priceline - so any advice on how logistically to do that???? If I use points at AMEX they want me to get a gift card for $100 or so, usually get a room for less than that - also have to use regular card to book room -- will they recharge when I get to hotel ?? and what do I do with leftover money - guess I could use room service - just answered part of my own question -

 

 

but anyway - any experience with this?? any ideas???? Thanks.

Use the points to get gifts ...
