karen_g Posted May 3, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2005 I will be in Nassau next year in late March. Trying to decide whether to go over to the Atlantis on my own to see the aquariums, or else take a ship's excursion that includes the aquariums *plus* some beach time at the Atlantis beach. My question is: how cold will the water be in late March? If it will be too cold to be comfortable in the ocean, I'll just skip the beach part. Any info/opinions would be appreciated. TonyCruise Posted May 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2005 I was in Nassau/Paradise Island just a few weeks ago in mid April so I think it would be about the same as end of March - maybe a degree or 2 warmer in April. In any event I think it will depend on what you consider cold. I am from New England so I am used to swimming in fairly cold ocean water. Having said that, I thought the water on Paradise Island was very warm - I could have stayed it it all day long! Tony.
