Cruisenut1966 Posted May 24, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Anyone else noticed a big price drop on July 1st Allure cruise. I just held a cabin D5 with a $1000.00 price drop from yesterday. WOW!!!!
tomahawk246 Posted May 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 24, 2012 What was the price? I could be wrong, but I think you made a mistake.

Puffinater Posted May 24, 2012 #6 Share Posted May 24, 2012 RCI website showing a D5 for July 1st @ $1659 per person. Must have been a very high price yesterday. I also checked using the discounts. The D5 is less than most of the other OV balconies.
Cruisenut1966 Posted May 24, 2012 Author #7 Share Posted May 24, 2012 2500.00 Total, It's not online, I had to call to get it.

marci22 Posted May 24, 2012 #10 Share Posted May 24, 2012 I am seeing D5 on July 1, 2012 for 1659pp + 113.67 taxes and fees = $3545.34 total. If you put it on hold online, why did you have to call to get it? I'm not following you. Even a balcony guarantee is $1499pp plus tax.

Richiebaseball Posted May 24, 2012 #13 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Right now I'm seeing the code for the Crown & Anchor Preview sale which is $1199 per person plus tax for a D5. A call should get this rate.
tomahawk246 Posted May 24, 2012 #14 Share Posted May 24, 2012 She is correct, I just changed from a guarantee inside to a D5 for 70.00 per person. It was for new bookings but my TA pulled some stings and got it done. The deal of the century for me.

tomahawk246 Posted May 24, 2012 #17 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Thanks Cruisenut1966, that was great info. You made me real happy. Last week I almost upgraded for 360.00 per person. These boards are great.
marci22 Posted May 24, 2012 #18 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Guess I cannot see the sale. Ok this time I saw it. I went to the C&A section (sign in first), special offers, C&A preview sale. When you see the categories, it shows the higher minimum price, but continue to click through (past the passenger info) and you will see the 1,199 price. powellzk Posted May 24, 2012 #21 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Not naysaying ....looking for the same deal. Not directed at you. It just annoys me when people say check the dates, or you are/might be wrong. We all know RC website is glitchy. Why not just congratulate the person and ask how they did it instead of implying they didn't get a deal just because it's not an easily found deal.? Why not just congratulate the person and ask how they did it instead of implying they didn't get a deal just because it's not an easily found deal.? You're easily annoyed. Maybe OP should have posted where and how he got his deal. Why just post omg I got a great deal and not tell people anything else? And I think it is important to say check your dates because if he paid for it after securing his online hold and it was the wrong date, he would have had a nonrefundable cruise on his hands.
