Summer Sun on the North Atlantic Crossing 6/26/05

We're thinking of booking the Westbound QM2 6/26/05 crossing in category B3.

Any recommendation for which side of the ship will be sunnier?

Will port or starboard make a difference? Which side will have the nicest sunsets?

For Westbound I should think you should be on the port side. For our Eastbound we were on the Starboard side . But be aware theer is an overhang from the sundeck that blocks out overhead sun from about half way alomg the ship ( ie just forward of the funne. To get real sun you need to be in the forward part of the ship. We were in 10065 and it overhung us.

For Westbound Port is definitely the 'sunny side of the ship' - starboard gets the Sunsets though. Even in an obstructed balcony we got some sun Portside and if you are feeing like a lie in you can watch the Statue of Liberty pass portside too - though you will need to be on deck for Manhattan - enjoy!
