Taking beverages ashore

We are debating whether it is worth buying a beverage package as our cruise does not have many at sea days. If we purchase a non-alcoholic package, can we stock up on waters and soft drinks to take ashore during excursions? Thanks for your help.

Yes. Keeping in mind that the packages are not to be shared and you can only buy one beverage at a time, you can definitely take your bottled water or soft drink off the ship with you -- in fact, they have a table set up to sell them right as you are leaving the ship (along with insulated totes, drink bottles and other accessories)
