general questions about excursions and on board actvities

Recommended Posts

We are booked on Explorer for March. How far out does Royl Caribbean open up the excursions for booking? I know it's still 282 days away.... but who's counting :D We're just excited and want to make sure we get what we want.

Also, can things like the ice shows and other shows be booked in advance or do you have to wait until you're on the ship to get these?

Excursions will open between 60-90 days out, usually. On Explorer, there's no "pre-booking" of shows. The shows are scheduled around the 2 main traditional dinner seatings...Early (main) seating will go to shows after dinner....Late seating goes before dinner. If you choose MTD, you pick which show you'll attend and eat at the time that will allow you to get there on time!

There will be at least 4 ice shows (all the same show), so you choose which one to attend. They will announce the times once onboard.
