Atlantis/Oasis Dilema!

Hi, I will be boarding the Oasis of the Seas on June 30th! On July 1st we will be docked in Nassau from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm. I am trying to decide if it would be worth it to do the beach pass or not... it is $79 pp booking through RCCL. I don't want to leave Nassau having NOT visited Atlantis, as Atlantis is so convenient. However, is it worth it to do the Beach Pass at $79 per person? (There will be 4 of us). Is there anyway for us get a lower price going through another agency? Can we get tickets at a discounted rate at Atlantis Resort once we get there?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

Really... you CAN leave nassau without going to Atlantis.
the beach there is really nothing special.. and just a few meters to the east.. it's FREE..
(why on earth someone would pay to go to the beach there is beyond me.)

So.. beach opens at 9am. You have to leave at 12:30/1 to be back in time.

Just take a cab to cabbage beach for $5.. it's the same beach.. Walk to the left and take a picture.

No discounted rates.

I agree with Scubagirl. To me the only real reason to go to Atlantis would be for the waterpark, pools, dig and/or casino. If you are only interested in a beach go to a free one or do a day pass for one of the hotels in Nassau not Paradise Island where Atlantis is. There isn't much to see of Atlantis without the waterpark pass.
