O&B Athens Hotel

We stayed at the O&B both pre and post cruise last summer. We loved it! The staff is so friendly and helpful and the hotel is like this wonderful oasis from the intensity of the city - very modern and sleek. The bathroom was wonderful and spacious. There also is a lovely restaurant inside the hotel where we had a delicious lunch one day. It's in a great location for walking to the Acropolis and to many great restaurant areas. We loved it and would stay there again if we get the chance to go back to Athens.

Thanks Pam - glad to hear it - there had been some reviews that questioned the neighborhood - so just wanted to hear from someone who had been there.

We frequent NY, so most city's don't bother us.

I know the neighborhood looks sketchy, but seriously we never felt uncomfortable at all and we are from rural Iowa:-) And the location is really just great - it is right off of Ermou Street and if you go one way you end up on the pricey pedestrian shopping area and Syntagma Square, and if you go the other way, you end up in Monastiriraki and that market area. So we walked all over:-) Have a great trip:-)
