Self disemarkation

Does anybody know what time you can self disemark from the QM2 in Brooklyn and do you have to go through immigration after that or is it done on board before we arrive in New York.

You will have to go through immigration.

We have done this three times in Brooklyn and it can be as early as 6:40. Immigration is in the terminal. Beware that the lifts can be terribly busy then.

Only did it once, but had to queue for an hour. At 0645 the queue stretched right to the back of the Britannia Restaurant. I don't know what time you have to start queueing to be near the front.

we have done it many times and just walked off at around 6.40/7 pm, you have to go through immigration but they are quite fast, I have heard of an hour but never seen it, 30 minutes maybe
