grocer or liquor between hotel or pier

We'll be staying at the Holiday Inn on North Dexter Ave and taking a taxi to Pier 91. Is there a convenient grocery or liquor store either near our hotel, the pier, or enroute that we can make a quick stop to pick up some soda and bottled water? Near the hotel would probably be most convenient so we don't have to have the taxi stop. Thanks!

There's a Whole Food 1/3 mile away from hotel. Ask hotel for directions. Have fun!:D

There's also a Whole Foods about 1/2 mile from Pier 91.

your hotel is 1/2 block from a Walgreens which should now have a liquor dept in place. Close to Mercer st and 5th and N (very walkable from your hotel is a QFC grocery with a huge wine and liquor dept. Your in good shape between those two choices.
