How far from the RCCL dock to Kailua Kona

I am looking at reserving a tour in Kailua Kona but I need to know how far we actuallly dock from the city. The tour meets approx. 3 miles north of the city. Is if feasible to grab a taxi? Thanks!

Kona is a tender location. You'll be tendering into the middle of town so pretty central to things. It should be easily possible to catch a taxi.

Very feasible.!!!! You jump off the tender and your on a pretty main road.,

 

There are many buses, taxis, etc.
