Carnival Freedom 6 Day Review with pictures

Recommended Posts

Thanks for the lovely review. Cant wait till my 6 day cruise on the Freedodm in August. My question is do they have late night snacks? If so, where do they have it? Most carnival cruises serve late night burgurs and fries on the lido deck, but a previous post stated that the Freedom does not

There were late night snacks in the Sushi Bar area each night located on Deck 5. There were an assortment of fruits, cookies and a few other things, I'm not exactly sure what since both DH and I LOVE the chocolate chip cookies, that is what we usually went for.

You have some great pics! Would you mind telling me the brand and model? Im shopping for a new camera.

Great review!

Nothing too fancy. It is a Sony Cyber-Shot G with 14.1 megapixels. Model # DSC-H55. My DH bought it for me a couple of birthdays ago. :)

We got back in plenty of time for the past guest party. It was also the second elegant night. I had some cheese and two free screwdrivers. Here are a few shots from the party:

The sea was a little rough after leaving Jamaica. I didn't take any pictures of our food in the MDR because we each ate something we had eaten before (I had the grilled chicken again). But we did each try Baked Alaska for the first time. We both liked it a lot!

We decided not to go to showtime that night (it was Jump, Jive and Wail) and went to three adult comedy shows instead.

Thats my little guy waiting in line for a picture with Freddy! :) I will totally agree that it was rocky by Jamaica! We all joked that the captain was drunk that night! I'm still rocking today. Great review!

The next day we drove to Miami in our rental car. We went to Miami Beach and saw the Carnival Destiny in port on the way there and leaving port on our way to the Miami Marlins game later. I was so excited to see a Carnival ship!

The outside of Marlins ballpark looks like a Spaceship.......LOL. A few years back when we were in Baltimore for our cruise we went to Camden Yrads to see a game. It was alot of fun

We went to the Players Bar for drinks and discovered our favorite drinks of the cruise. Mine was a Mocha Chocolate Getaway and DH's was a Shade-Ade. I made fun of him because his drink was pink. LOL!

I was just searching Facebook to see if I could find Rasmudi and while I had no luck there, the facebook search engine turned up a link to your posts mentioning Ras and Panya. I figured, what the heck I will give it a read. Part of the way through, I realized we were on the same cruise last week. I thought, what are the chances of my party being in one of your pictures. LOL, well much to my suprise, it wasn't my party, it was just me. YEP, that pic below of the guy staring at the ceiling in the 70's Disco is me.

Rasmudi and Panya were definitely awesome and I made it known in my survey I just filled out tonight.

It looks like you had as much fun as we did.

Congratulations and best wishes!

It is a brand new ballpark. When I posted the pic of the outside I joked to DH that it looked fake! But, it was real, I was there! :)
