Has anyone cruised on the liberty from toulon

I am trying to find information about embarking at Toulon on the Liberty of the seas any information would be much appreciated

 

Tried ports but it was people looking for excursions not embarking there

not sure where you are travelling from (could help more if I knew) but my travel arragements from the UK are

 

flight from Stanstead UK to Marseille FR

 

looked at flights to Toulon but timings were not suitable 15:00 hrs arrival time Sunday afternoon from UK may be better French internal flights

 

flights to Marseille arrive on the Sunday morning from uk and leave Sunday

afternoon so alot better allowing for transfer times

 

We have chosen to arrive Saturday a day early

 

Cost of Taxi from Marseille to Toulon £155 one way approximately plus surcharge when travelling on a Sunday

 

Bus transfer for 1 adult from aiport to Charles de gare train station £6.90 non stop

Charles de Gare ticket for 1 adult Toulon £9.50

 

Taxi from train station to port £20 for 4 people

 

There are high speed train connections from Toulon to Paris travelling time approximately 4-5 hrs

 

 

I have no information about the embarkation process in Toulon still trying to find some one who has done this

 

will be travelling on the September the 9th 2012 Liberty of the seas cruise from Toulon

 

Total travel arragements from UK to Toulon port for 2 adults and 3 children

 

Flights UK to Marseille,

bus transfer to train station,

train Marseille to Toulon,

taxi for 5 to hotel in Toulon,

1 night stay in hotel in Toulon,

Ferry from Toulon to port to catch The liberty of the seas

 

£890 return (approximately)
