Balcony dining?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone had any experience with having dinner on their balcony? How does this work? Is the menu placed in your cabin? Do you place an order ahead of time? Did you find things delivered in a timely way? Did you find it was comfortable on your balcony? ( too hot, windy?)

I'm sure we have breakfast this way most days, and possibly lunch ( though that may be hot!) but it might be nice to enjoy a romantic dinner at our own pace.

When regent ran the ship they would serve meals in the cabin course by course. I thought the PG balconies are too small for meals unlike some other ships - Azamara for example has a lovely table for dining al fresco.

For breakfast and lunch you can dine on the balcony at La Veranda albeit not in your PJs.

One tip - dont know if its off menu - lamb chops or minute steak for breakfast.DH's favourite indulgence on board the PG ( or regent). Also if you want fresh squeezed OJ specifically ask for it as they sometimes give the other stuff!
