stevecw Posted June 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2012 I've only been to NOLA once in December - but I can tell you how the weather was for us. We spent 2 days in NOLA pre-cruise in December a few years back. The first day was really nice - 75-80 and partly sunny all afternoon and into the evening. Around 10pm it got cloudy and a big thunderstorm blew in on a cold front. When we got up and ventured out the next morning - it was only around 40 and very windy. Went from T-Shirts one day to coats the next. It only got up to about 55, and and was breezy all day. We were still wearing our coats when we boarded the ship, and when we went down the river on the way to the gulf - it was quite chilly outside on the decks. Very few people out on the decks for sailaway. The next day in the gulf - it got up in the 80's and stayed that way the rest of our cruise. When we got back to NOLA - it was in the upper 60's and pretty nice for our trip home.
jgmpuma Posted June 15, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2012 Winter weather here is unpredictable, as the poster above found out. Check the local forecast before you leave home: http://www.wwltv.com

Are you talking about RCI Serenade of the Seas? She is in the Mediterranean in December. Navigator is out of NO in Dec. We are booked on her. :D There are still lots of available cabins...
