needabreakcanada Posted June 14, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2012 We are planning 3 beach visits while on our cruise with Freedom in September 3,5,6. First stop is key west southshore beach. Second stop is Grand Cayman 7 mile by Royal Palms Last stop Bamboo Beach Jamaica If we took our own equipment could we easily snorkel at these locations on our own? Also anyone know water temperatures at these three places first week in September? Thanks,
crusinpsychRN Posted June 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2012 Not sure how good snorkling is at that particular beach in Key West. GC yes, Jamaica yes. Water will be warm.
simkoreb Posted June 14, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2012 When we go to Grand Cayman, we always book a snorkle trip independently. We have snorkled off the beach and seen some fish, but no reefs. Hopefully someone can chime in if there is a reef at a certain part of the beach...otherwise there's not a lot to see. The snorkeling we have done there has been great!!! But it was off a boat.
