We´re flying to pick up a cruise in Sydney next year and are going to book our own flights. we don´t need a stop over in HK or Singapore, and probably will fly coach rather than business.

Can any one give us useful hints or tips to find a competetive airfare? They all seem quite high and the taxes are more than the ´fare´ when flying from UK. Or any recommendation for airlines? Last time we flew with Cathay Pacific but Eithad seem to be advertising quite a bit.

Sorry couldn´t reply earlier. my virus protection (avast) wouldn´t let me into CC after it´s latest update, kept saying it was a bad site full of malware. So I had to uninstall and reinstall a different one!!!

have you booked and day trips yet for your cruise? Our roll call is very quiet and I´ve just found out Dawn doesn´t let you bring wine on board apart from 1 bottle in Sydney!!

I'm struggling to beat the Choice Air option ... Their prices are just unbeatable, and with the securities the bookings come with, makes it a no brainer.

 

(not promoting them nor do I work in the industry, before anyone asks) just passing on my experience.
