Looking at booking the excursion below through RCI on our Oasis trip in December:

 

Atlantis Dolphin Cay - Shallow Water Interaction - NS56,

OVERVIEW: A great combo tour of two vacation highlights – interacting with dolphins and exploring the famous Atlantis resort. Encounter dolphins at the Atlantis Dolphin Cay as you meet a new friend for a 30-minute in-water interaction. You'll receive an Atlantis map to take a self-guided tour of the Ruins Lagoon and The Dig.

 

Does anyone have any experience with this excursion? I would really love to be able to see dolphins up close as we have not done this before but just wondering if it is worth the $179 per person price tag. :confused: Any information is appreciated!

Blue lagoon does a better program for quite a bit less.

Don't know if your timing will be right.. since Oasis usually isn't in port very long.

I did not know there were other dolphin encounter programs there to look into, thanks!! The only issue is we aren't in port very long at all. :( Only there from 7am to 2pm. I will have to look at the times the encounters from Blue Lagoon are offered. It may work out though. Thanks again!

We were in the Bahamas last week and did the Blue Lagoon excursion over the Atlantis one based on your recommendation and what a fantastic dolphin program they have there at Blue Lagoon! I've done the dolphin interaction at both the Atlantis and Blue Lagoon Island, and I would definitely recommend BLI over the Atlantis.

We are sailing with RC and have chosen the Atlantis dolphin interaction. We would like to spend time at the resort, have lunch, I’d like to do some shopping while DH visits the casino. The excursion begins at 11:30 and ends at 3:30, our ship sails at 5:00pm. Does anyone know if we will be allowed in Atlantis prior to our excursion – the way it reads is that we are allowed to visit the resort after our encounter. We are not interested in their beaches or waterpark area.
