RCCL's Florence On Your Own

We are looking at this tour in November. What time do you arrive in Florence? And what is the departure time? We are thinking of making reservations to see David at the Accademia and want to go shortly after we arrive.

Thanks

I did Florence on Your Own last summer. It'll probably be safe to make an 11 a.m. reservation for the Accademia. Assume you leave Livorno at 8 a.m., get to Florence around 10 a.m., walk a few blocks to the designated meeting spot (so you'll know where to meet the bus guide for the return trip) and then make your way over to the Accademia. The guide can give you directions.

Have a great trip.

I can confirm that you should be there by 10.00 as long as there is no stop at a leather factory on the way. Perhaps wait until 12.00 for your reservation - there's plenty more to keep you busy and if David is a must see it's better to be cautious. Have fun - Florence is a truly beautiful city.
