Along those lines, I believe that some airlines (AA?) are using note pads/note books in business class for entertainment (loaded movies, etc).

I guess you can use it in other ways than just Internet.

As for international roaming, I doubt that works in the middle of the ocean.

Sort of off topic but on my recent Nautica cruise, the band's pianist had all his music on an IPAD and just swiped the page to turn it. I was impressed. No more lugging around all the sheet music and fake books.

That works fine but make sure you have it in airplane mode to ensure no notifications appear on your sheet music thus blocking some notes.

Just off Marina June 18 and before that Voyager April 16. WiFi was faster on Regent but Oceania's food was better than the offerings on Regent in my humble opinion and, more importantly, that of my wife!
