Parking for the Cruise

My husband and I are going to drive up to Vancouver for our Alaska cruise. We are wondering about parking options for the duration of the cruise. We understand that parking at the terminal is quite expensive, about $23 a day so times 14 days, that's alot! Does anyone know what parking at the airport is? Or are there any other options for parking?

In previous years they have had a cruisers weekly parking rate ... that was cheaper and also there has been a 2nd park & cruise lot ... I am off to Vancouver on Friday & I will check it out for you and post here

Yes, parking is very expensive in downtown Vancouver. Here is a link to the parking at the airport; if you choose to do that you could take the Canada Line from the airport to Waterfront station which is about 3 blocks from Canada Place and the pier.

A number of cruisers find that it is cost effective to book a stay, park and cruise package with a hotel, some that offer this type of package include:

Best Western - Downtown or Drake St.

The Hampton Inn on Robson St.

Executive Vintage Park Inn on Howe St.

Georgian Court on Beatty St.

There is also but are out of the downtown core:

 

The Coast Plaza on Denman at Comox St.

The Accent Inns in Burnaby & Richmond

 

You will find that most of these hotels include 7 days of parking in their packages so you will end up having to purchase the additional days on some basis.

Some hotels will give you 7days parking per night stayed, so if you stay a night before your cruise and a night when you get back you will get 14nights parking. Worth asking about.
