Eclipse room question

Recommended Posts

hi

we have a cabin booked on eclipse 8225 and notice it has an interconnecting door to 8223.

We do not know the people occupying 8223 will it be a problem or should it always be locked automatically?

cheers

It will not be a problem. Your stateroom door and theirs will lead to a very small "foyer" then to the hallway. Each closes and locks independently. If you were using the rooms as connecting rooms, Rhodes does would be left open, that's all. It's hard to describe inwards but ehenyou see it you'll know. There may be some phtots of the stateroom doors here on CC somewhere, but know that it won't be something to concern yourself over.

This shows what cruisestitch is trying to describe. The cream doors are the 'normal' ones. If you want a 'connecting' room the cream doors are left open (though you can close them for privacy) and the brown doors close toward you to make a double door entry into a little hall. This is unlike Millie class ships which have a normal connecting door in the wall between cabins.
