Ships R Great Posted June 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2012 I would book a second cruise while on board if the price was right. Any chance of a really good price 4-5 days out?
mondello Posted June 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2012 My guess would be...usually, no. CCL would be doing everything possible to fill the ship before then.
firefly333 Posted June 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted June 28, 2012 Look at prices 4 - 5 days out and track them now and see if you think they are good. The price if you book onboard will not be less for booking onboard. Its the same as on the website.
wrigley80 Posted June 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2012 In December we went on the Legend out of Tampa. About a week before we were getting ready to leave I was looking around on Carnival's website and found a 4 day cruise on the Carnival Inspiration out of Miami for $119.00 per person for an inside cabin. Too bad we were flying or I would have booked that cruise in a heart beat. You can find some really good deals last minute. They are just looking to fill the ship
kicia Posted June 29, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 29, 2012 It depends on the ship and especially the time of year. Most times the prices are the same as booking in advance, if not higher, if there is anything left. If something out of the ordinary is happening, like a hurricane or some bad weather in the north in the winter and a lot of people can't make the ship, then there is a better chance for some good real last minute prices.
