doesnt matter what time you go there always pack a warm jumper/jacket as it can get very cold in the South Island

In Jan / Feb, the weather is normally much better and settled around New Zealand.

 

But its is worth tacking a rain jacket and a jumper, just in case!, as the in the evenings it can get a bit cool if your in the wind on board.

Thank's been there twice b4 on cruises but later in the yr.

I have been in the south just before Christmas...like mid winter, jumper scarf and hat weather..much warmer in north Auckland pretty much like Sydney.
