would you book a guarantee Mini-Suite on the Epic?

Check out the deck plans - there is a website where you can drag the decks over each other to see what is above and what is below.

 

I am fussy about my cabin, so I just book the cabin I want and call it day but I am sure you can get much better deals with guarantees.

If there was a huge price difference between the GTY and choosing your cabin location I would probably go with the GTY. If we are only talking a small amount of price difference I would definitely pick my own cabin location and dispense with worrying about what I might get assigned.
