Tips, Robes, Shampoo, Cigar Smoking, oh my

Recommended Posts

You can say the policy is clear, all you want, but, that won't make it so.

BTW, if RCI really cared about this issue at all they could easily modify their policy to make it clear. And yet, despite numerous debates here on CC, they have not. I wonder what we might learn from that?

Maybe because they made Celebrity almost smoke free? Drive non smokers there and smokers here? Since DH smokes, it's down to RCCL or Carnival now.

Very interesting. On the first day of my cruises I show my cabin steward a cigar and say I want to smoke it on the balcony. All they do is bring me an ashtray.

You are quite right. Your room steward wants to do everything possible to make you happy hoping for a nice tip. That would be the last person I would complain to. My immediate call would be to guest services. If they told me there was nothing they could do, my future cruises would be with X.
