Why so few 3 person J/S's on RCCL ships?

We needed a J/S for 3 of us next year on the Mariner. We did snag one but there are so few to choose from. Why don't they have more J/S's with a sofa sleeper? It is easy to find D 1's that hold three but we would like more cabin space.

Well...I don't think they asked the opinions of any us here on Cruise Critic when they designed the ships. :D

 

Perhaps you could write and ask for more sleeper sofas in the Junior Suites. :)

It seems like they could make more money by adding a sleeper sofa to J/S cabins. There are a few that do have this set up but it would be great to see more of them designated to hold more than two.

I always wondered the same thing.

We book a JS triple and there are so few to choose from.

It's a little ridiculous that they don't make more available....
