Hmmm...

I can't really think of any dishes that absolutely stood out at dinner time except those made by our special guest chefs on our charter. The strip steak was always good--make sure if you want it MR you order rare, MW you order medium, etc. as they tend to overcook them a bit.

The one thing we really loved (and many of our fellow cruisers raved about) was the burger served at lunch time in the Verandah. I want to remember they were angus and freshly grilled to order. They are really big, we both ordered them one day, and then would split one after that because we don't like to waste food and there was no way either of us could eat a full burger.

I only drink wine, not spirits, but a few people thought the dirty martini's that Bobby made were really good.

Out on the Verandah at lunch everyday, they grill a different fresh fish. It was my favorite meal of the day. The buffet is pretty small with a different theme each day. The greek buffet was very good. You will love the food on board.

Hi Ducklite,

I noticed you just completed a back-to-back very similar to what we just booked for next June.

We're doing Athens-Rome, then Rome-Rome on the new Islands of Italy itinerary.

Any ports stand out as favorites?

Did you do any private excursions?

Thanks.

Our favorite port by a landslide was Dubrovnik. We also loved Hvar and Split.

We didn't take any private tours except two put together by the charter company we sailed with.

The ship tours we liked best were to Pompeii and a winery tour in Hvar.
