Sheraton Day Pass Thanksgiving Week?

What are the chances of getting into the Sheraton Thanksgiving week with 4 ships in port that day? Since you can't reserve I'm afraid by the time we get there they won't be available, especially since the hotels themselves will be booked pretty heavily for the holiday.

Your thinking is correct. Day passes are based on occupancy.. and during this season occupancy is high. In the past we haven't had much of a problem with overcrowding, but with the construction (and demolition of the wyndham).. this year may not be like others.

Have a back up plan.

Thanks. That's what I figured. Blue Lagoon may be an easier option for the 10 of us.

Hm, this day pass business is starting to get tricky. After combing the boards it seems that

Breezes: might not have day pass availability

Sheraton: might not have availability and there's major construction

So we're going to try Breezes and have Sheraton as a back-up. You guys thinking that's now a bad idea?

We're there on August 1st (starting at like 7 or 8am) with 3 ships in port that day...so I know it could be pretty busy.

I really wish I could plan all this beforehand...one less stressful thing to deal with when we get there.
