One day jeep rental April 1 STJ

Does anyone have any idea of which rental car companies might rent a jeep for 1 day which happens to be April 1, 2013. I contacted the company we used when we were on STJ for 10 days and they said no to a one day rental during high season. It makes sense but I thought maybe someone on this thread would have a secret they would like to share ;)

We have a one day jeep rental reserved in October through Budget. The rental pickup is right outside the cruise terminal.

Most visitors on STT rent from any company other than Hertz, and have no problem renting for a day or longer. I've been reading lots of good things about Amalie Car Rental, so you might want to do a search here and via google for more info.

 

If you're hoping to use the rented vehicle to go to STJ, keep in mind the RT barge fare is approx $50. You need to work out the numbers to see if it makes sense to rent a vehicle vs going on the people ferry or with a ship's tour.
