Middleager Posted March 29, 2013 #51 Share Posted March 29, 2013 Hi. Nice to hear of people's good diving experience. We'll also be cruising (Carnival Freedom) to Curacao end of Aug., but the port time is 2-11pm. Were any of you guys on the afternoon dives, or were you on the morning times? Just wondering how the dive ops deal with cruises that are only there for the afternoon/evening. Thanks.
cruzbound Posted March 29, 2013 Author #52 Share Posted March 29, 2013 We went diving in the AM but I would say to contact Hans at Curious2Dive and see if he take you on an afternoon dive. He is not a big operation so he can might be able to be more flexible and work with you. Good luck!
LindaSSF Posted April 20, 2013 #53 Share Posted April 20, 2013 We just got off our cruise, and Curious2Dive was the highlight of our trip. Hans picked us up & got us back in plenty of time. The equipment was safe and tested before we left. Every tank was 3000psi, and we dived until one diver was low on gas rather than by time. We were 2 refresher divers and 3 Discover divers. Hans made the newbies feel comfortable almost immediately. He was a great guide who truly knew his house reef, showing us great sites on the reef. We received pictures of our dives immediately afterwards at no charge. We will definitely be back to dive with Hans again!
LibratPDX Posted April 24, 2013 #54 Share Posted April 24, 2013 I thought I read somewhere that Curacao requires that all dives be shore dives........so no boat diving allowed? I haven't done a shore dive since getting certified, please don't make me walk out there with all that stuff on!
